Meet the woman behind the brand, Cortney Wilson.
I'm Cort, the founder of Blush Avenue! I'm an award- winning and multi published hairstylist with 20 years of experience in the industry. I started this company in 2015 when I noticed a lull in the industry and wanted to raise standards to a new level. Teams are either great at customer service or their craft. Not both. I wanted to change that.
Among other things, I've created a designated Client Concierge role within our company to ensure our clients are always well taken care of. I've also built a team of over 15 talented (and certified!) artists. I hand choose and audition every artist myself to ensure they meet my high standards of quality and client experience. Providing you with a seamless and stress-free experience is just as important as creating your flawless look.
The company has won the Industry Expert Award and Top Choice Award for Best Hair and Makeup in the GTA. Some publications we've been featured in include: Brides.com, The Knot, Black Bride Magazine, Vineyard Bride Magazine, Wedding Wire, Oceanic Magazine, Surreal Magazine, Red Carpet at the Much Music Video Awards, eventsource.ca and others.

Candace has been in the beauty industry since 2011, starting out in her hometown of Townsville, Australia.
Since moving to Toronto in 2013, Candace has added a diploma from C|MU College of Makeup Art & Design and dabbled in film work and special effects, plus worked with movie stars to make them picture perfect for events such as Comic Con & TIFF.

Studio Cut & Colour
The Studio offers a unique one-on-one salon experience with owner and licensed hairstylist Cortney Wilson. Cortney's ongoing education has included Vidal Sassoon, Bumble & Bumble, Wella, Redken, Oligo, among many others. She uses the Oligo colour line and styling products, as well as Olaplex Bonding Treatment.
